On a typical shift you will mount racking rails and mounting brackets on roof trusses or ground-mount frames; commission the system and verify output on the inverter monitoring app; carry out continuity and insulation resistance tests on strings; run DC cabling from panels to combiner boxes and string inverters; install string inverters, optimisers and rapid shutdown devices; earth and bond the array in line with wiring regulations. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting and carrying panels all day • Able to read PV layout drawings and wiring diagrams 6+ years on the tools preferred.
